Doyle Contributes to Hurricane Relief Album Doyle appears on "Our New Orleans: A Benefit Album for the Gulf Coast", a hurricane relief effort whose net proceeds will be donated to Habitat for Humanity (with a portion specifically earmarked for housing assistance for local New Orleans musicians left homeless by Hurricane Katrina). The album features New Orleans artists Allen Toussaint, Dr. John, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and Irma Thomas in addition to several other Louisiana artists. Doyle to appear on upcoming Susan Tedeschi DVD On Friday, November 18, Doyle performed with Susan Tedeschi at The Roxy in Hollywood in support of her new album "Hope and Desire", on which Doyle plays most of the lead guitar work. This show was being filmed and will hopefully be available for Doyle and Susan fans alike to buy in the near future. Doyle to Collaborate w/Erykah Badu Word on the street is that Doyle will be writing and possibly recording with soul priestess Erykah Badu sometime in the near future. "Return to Maui Madness with Dudley and Bob" This December, KLBJ and Paradise Vacation & Travel in Austin, TX, are sponsoring another trip to Maui. Doyle will be joining Charlie, Chris and Tommy for five shows - 4 in Texas and 1 on Oklahoma - this spring. They are also planning to release a DVD of some of these shows in the near future. Details of the disc will be posted here as they become available. Doyle To Release "Wall of Hope Concert" Performance Doyle, J.J. Johnson and Mike Elizondo performed at the Great Wall of China September 25, 2004. Other artists performing at the show included Alicia Keyes, Cyndi Lauper, Nellie McKay and Sylvia Tosun. Doyle Performs on Austin City Limits with Sheryl Crow On 9/17/2004, Doyle was in Austin to play guitar for Sheryl Crow's latest Austin City Limits performance. Lucky people in Austin that week were treated to a last minute impromptu Arc Angels gig at the Continental Club when Sheryl had to cancel her own gig there due to throat problems. She felt well enough to sing a song with the fellas. See photos of this performance in our gallery. Doyle key performer at Clapton's "Crossroads Guitar Festival" In addition to being a member of his touring band in Europe and the U.S., Doyle will be joining the prestigious list of guitarists performing at Clapton's summer concert benefiting the Crossroads Centre. The Centre is a chemical addiction treatment and education facility founded by Clapton in 1997 that provides residential care, family and aftercare programs on the island of Antigua.
